“أَسْـأَلُ اللهَ العَـظيـم، رَبَّ العَـرْشِ العَـظيـم أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ”

‘As’alullaahal-‘Adheema Rabbal-‘Arshil-‘Adheemi ‘an yashfiyaka’
I ask Almighty Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to make you well. (Recite seven times in Arabic.)

Mu‘aadh bin Jabal related from the Prophet, upon him be peace, “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

  5. My dear sister Nour, may Allah keep you strong, alleviate your pain, and bring you ease. Please remember that your test is a temporal one, as is life itself. These years that you have undergone pain, and the time period for which Allah has destined your pain to continue, are small compared to the eternal, everlasting felicity you will achieve in the aakhirah inshaAllah. Eternal felicity… Imagine that! An infinite number of years of no pain. An indefinite amount of joy and no worries. An infinite, immeasurable amount of pleasure, of peace… inshaAllah. Allah has promised that He does not test people beyond what they can bear, and subhanAllah you are bearing a lot. He knows and trusts that you will endure this inshaAllah… your body will get through this and more importantly, your soul will come out of this trial stronger and closer to Him. Those that were tested the most were the ones He loves the most (the Prophets (peace be upon them))…Your trial is great, but the good news is that it means that He loves you greatly. You will come out of this free from all sin inshaAllah…bear it patiently my sister, and this will be your eternal salvation. This is still better than the trials of the aakhira, and inshaAllah because of it, you will be saved from those trials which others who live comfortably now, will have to face.
He is testing you because you are not an unbeliever… He says: “did you suppose that you would enter the Garden without facing the same as those who came before you? Poverty and illness afflicted them and they were shaken to the point that the Messenger and those who believed with him said, ‘When is Allah’s help coming?’ Be assured that Allah’s help is very near.” (Qur’an, 2:214)

Yaa Rabbil aalameen! O the One who brings ease after hardship, the Merciful, Compassionate Lord of us all, the One who has promised expiation of sins for even the prick of a thorn, forgive this sister completely for all the pain she has endured, and have mercy on her. Be pleased with her in a complete way, and enter her amongst the highest ranks of Your garden of pain-free paradise. O Merciful Lord! Make Nour strong and increase her in rank, and in faith and in remembrance of You, and in reliance on You. You are the Hearer of prayer and the Knower of what Your servants experience. Take away this affliction from her ya Rabb, and compensate her for her endurance in a manner that exceeds her greatest expectations! You are the most Compassionate, You are Peace and You are the only One from Whom comes peace. So bring peace to the heart and soul and body of Nour. And peace be upon you messenger who endured so much hardship to bring Your guidance to us. Ya Rabb accept all of our duas.

  10. Qadr is guaranteed to take its course, acceptance of qadr creates a solution focused environment in which a slave can seek the source of all and the powerful over all to grant a way out of any hardships and ontop of that rewards for patience and even possibly a higher rank in jannah. What can a slave ask for other than acceptance, patience and the ultimate position in jannah! May the Most Merciful continue to shower you with mercy, give you and your family patience and replace your pain and suffering with peace and health.

  11. Dear Sister Nour ,

  13. May Allah SWT grant you Shifa and alleviate your sufferings and recompense you for every ounce of hardship you have gone through. Allah doesn’t burden a soul with more than it can handle and Inshallah you will get through this. And lastly, Allah only tests those that he loves so be assured of Allah’s love for you

  14. ’Aḷḷaahumma ṛabban-naas,
    ’aẕhibil-ba’s,
    wash-fi ’antash-shaafee,

and bring about healing as You are the Healer,
there is no healing but Your Healing,
a healing that will leave no ailment.

  15. “The believer will keep on suffering until he walks on the earth with no sin.”

Alhamdulillah what a blessing to be a Muslim, aware of our purpose, and able to realize the tests for what they are and actually be rewarded for our illnesses. May Allah(swt) keep you and all of us on the straight path. With each passing day in your condition you are shaking off more sin and gaining more reward, and we should all admire you for it. Please make du’a for us all. I love you ❤
